A social entrepreneur is a financially self-sustaining agent of transformative social progress. The purpose of the Georgetown Social Entrepreneurship Competition is to provide an outlet for Georgetown students to learn about social business and to work together to develop original and creative ideas.

The competition is open to all Georgetown students, undergraduate and graduate. The deadline to register is February 13, 2008, when a short Concept Proposal is due.
