WASHINGTON DC ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP (WDCEP) PREMIERPLAN COMPETITION

The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) PremierPlan Competition is a business plan competition featuring an award of $100,000 in CAPCO investment capital, scheduled to take place in summer 2009. The goal of the initiative is to fund original business concepts that will lead to the continued development of new enterprise and further job creation within the District of Columbia. In order to assist applicants in preparing the most competitive application, the WDCEP will host three workshops, as noted among the key dates below. All workshops will take place from 9:30 - 11:00 am at Venable LLP (575 7th St NW, Floor 8), and registration is required.
March 11: Workshop #1: PremierPlan Orientation & How to Write a Business Plan
April 15: Workshop #2: Developing Financial Projections
April 20: PremierPlan Application Deadline
May 6: Workshop # 3: Presenting Your Business Plan to Investors
May 20: Five copies of your business plan due
July 8: PremierPlan Oral Presentations
July 15: Winner Notified
July 22: Winner Announced at 2009 BusinessPremier Small Business Awards
