Students must submit a proposal outlining and defending a sustainable investment portfolio worth $100,000. Judging criteria rewards thoughtful design of high performance, sustainability-driven investments. Portfolios will be judged for an understanding of the interdependence among business, society and the environment for a competitive advantage.

Registered students will have opportunities throughout the registration period for conference calls and web-based chats with investment professionals to discuss sustainable investment strategies.

The SustaInvest Advisory Council, a panel of distinguished professionals, will judge the portfolios. Finalists will pitch their portfolio to the advisory council April 17th in Ithaca, NY. First prize finalist will receive paid registration to the 2009 Net Impact Conference at Cornell University. Cash prizes include $500 for first prize, $200 for second prize and $100 for third prize.

REGISTRATION is open and portfolio pitch write-ups must be SUBMITTED by March 25, 2009.
